Iran captures 15 British sailors in Iraqi waters...Where is the public outcry from the "World Community"? There isn't an outcry. No one outside of the U.S. or Britain cares. However, if we or the Brits had captured 15 Iranians, you would have U.N. meetings, Congressional investigations, and a demand from the Red Cross to approve of the conditions the detainees are being held in. Sorry, can't forget about P.E.T.A. condemning us for feeding them meat. What the hell! Where is Sean Penn and all his outrage? Tim Robbins? Michael Moore? Hillary Clinton? They are no where to be seen in regards to this issue.
There are some standing up and showing their outrage. They are the men and women of the U.S. and British Military. Currently they are conducting joint war scenarios very, very close to Iranian waters. This is the biggest Naval build up since the invasion of Iraq in 2003. It looks as if we are sending the Iranians a clear message. Tony Blair stated that Iran needs to release the 15 detainees or this will move up to the next level. Hmmmm, what could the next level be?
Iran is playing a very dangerous game. A game they will lose. They need to look at a map. They are currently surrounded by Allied Troops to there east and west. At sea, they are gazing at a very large and impressive fleet. I heard one commentator call this a game of chess...I believe that it is Iran's move and they are in check.
